The Dongola projets association and the Cité internationale des arts have co-constructed a residency program centered on the creation of an artist’s book, open to a visual artist-writer duo from one of the countries in the MENA region, living and working in Europe.
One visual artist and one writer will be selected on presentation of a joint project, following a meeting of a jury of art and culture professionals and representatives of the Cité internationale des arts and Dongola projets.
During the residency, Dongola projets monitors the production of the book and provides the production tools needed to complete the project, and the winners benefit from the comprehensive support offered by the Cité internationale des arts.
